BATTS

BATTS have released their debut album The Grand Tour, a concept record that includes sounds from the Voyager Mission as it travelled past the planets of our solar system. After supporting Sharon Van Etten on the East Coast of Australia, Tanya Batt headed to Adelaide South Australia to headline their own album tour and morning after performing at Grace Emily spoke with radionotes.

Esther La Rovere

Priscilla, Queen of the Desert is a film that has inspired Broken Heel - a Festival embracing Drag and its community. The Palace Hotel in Broken Hill in Outback of Australia was featured in the film, bringing its colourful walls and charm to the world.

In 2017, radionotes dropped past the hotel to speak with Esther La Rovere.

Broken Heel Festival runs during September, in 2019 from 13th to 15th.

Auldist is This Girl

This Girl is a tune by KUNGS vs Cookin' on 3 Burners (2016). First part is a French DJ/Producer and the second a Melbourne, Australian outfit that features the vocals of Kylie Auldist - original vocals of the tune can be found on their album called Soul Messin' (2009).

While in Auldist's town, radionotes caught up with them at their local cafe for a quick chat - this is that.

Peter Black

Peter 'Blackie' Black from the Hard-Ons and Nunchukka Superfly in 2016 released a Song A Day as a Solo project.

In Early 2017, they toured through South Australia and played the Grace Emily Hotel (where this chat was had).

Peter Black Solo releases - including Song A Day - are available through Band.
